Who will win the champions league?

With eight teams remaining in the Champions league, the competition has reached the stage where it could be possible to predict the final winner. Youth Blitz sounded out a number of young people on who they think will win this year’s champions league trophy.

Muzamiru Tumwesigye, 23, boda boda rider

In my view I think Real Madrid will emerge winner because they know how to play in the Champions League. They are not doing fine at home but in this tournament I believe they can beat anyone irrespective of form.

Ian Kasango, 27, teacher

I will go with Manchester City. It seems this could be their year. They have gained form at the right moment and their striker Erling Haaland is currently unstoppable.

Safina Ampaire, 31, businesswoman

Bayern Munich has all that it takes in terms of experience to win this year’s Champions League. They are the ones that eliminated PSG and I believe they will take the trophy

Annet Nalukwago, 28, market vendor

Manchester City will win the trophy and I think this may represent Pep Guardiola’s best chance of winning the Champions League with Manchester City. They have a solid team and if they can maintain the focus and form.

Andrew Ogwapit, 27, businessman

Real Madrid will take the trophy because somehow they always find their form when it comes to the Champions League. Karim Benzema and Vincious Junior are all on form and have a good understanding.  I think the final should be between Madrid and Bayern Munich.

I have always told people not to underestimate Napoli. In my view there is no team that is playing better than the Italian side across all leagues in Europe. The problem is that many local fans do not follow the Serie A but if you do, you will know that Napoli is the best club in the world at the moment.
