Azawi wows crowds at maiden concert
Singer Azawi produced a stellar performance at her maiden concert in Kampala on July 22, 2022.
Coming onto the music scene in 2019 with her debut single, Quinamino, Priscilla Zawedde, stage name Azawi has been on a roll since arriving on the music scene.
In October last year, she released her debut album named “African Music” that has sold her all over the world but also saw pay television music channel, MTV Base rank her as one of the African musicians to watch out for in the year 2022.
Kicking off the concert with a fireworks display, the singer hit the stage with her 2021 hit” My Year” and this was followed by bangers like Crazy Love, Ache For You, and Gimme.
She later upped her tempo by performing songs like Party Mood, Slow Dancing, Fwa Fwa and Lo Fit that got the crowd singing along word for word.
This was climaxed with Majje a collaboration with Fik Fameica which threw fans into frenzy.
At the end of the concert, the singer left thousands of her fans that thronged the Lugogo grounds in Kampala yearning for more of the singing sensation.
