Lydia Jazmine’s maiden concert lives up to its billing

Lydia Jazmine showed she is a force to reckon with in Uganda’s music industry with her maiden concert at Hotel Africana in Kampala.

Born Lydia Nabawanuka, Jazmine started her professional music career in 2014 with “You Know”, a collabo with Rabadaba that has been described as a commercial success and helped to launch her career.

She has never looked back.

However, in the 10 years of her career, Jazmine had never organised her own concert and the ‘First Born’ was her time to show her music prowess.

By 5pm, the concert venue was full to the brim as her fans continue to throng Hotel Africana parking.

Before the main act, performances from renowned emcees and deejays warmed up the stage before curtain raisers including Chance Nalubega, Sophia Nantongo, Henry Tigan and Allan Tonix set the mood.

Others including Warafiki girl trio, Geosteady, Myk Ouma, Lilian Mbabazi and Pia Pounds also performed.

Now was the time for the woman of the day to hit the stage.

Hitting the stage in a long dress as white as snow, Jazmine threw fans into frenzy as she begun her performance.

Performing songs like Masuuka and Olina Ebintu Byange among others, Jazmine captivated fans who has come in big numbers to show her love.

Coming back for the session, Lydia Jazmine poured out her heart more as she sang mostly her love songs including her collabos with Geosteady, Ykee Benda, Rickman and Beenie Gunter among others.

Throughout her performance, fans could not stay on their seats as they got captivated by the music.

Many could not help sing along, dance and lovers hold each other passionately as they felt love flowing inside them, thanks to Jazmine’s love ballads.

Midway through her performance, Lydia Jazmine paused the performance to express gratitude to to her fans, fellow musicians, and sponsors for their unwavering support for her first concert.

Sharing her personal stories, Lydia Jazmine made fans part of her musical journey as a way of connecting with them on a deeper level.

The performance was nothing short of spectacular as Lydia Jazmine showed the world she has come of age in the music industry, leaving the audience in awe.
