Sheebah silences critics with successful concert
It was sold out concert for dance hall artiste Sheebah Karungi in Kampala as the singer silenced her critics at Kampala Serena Hotel during a two-day concert.
Celebrating a decade in Uganda’s music industry, Sheebah nicknamed Karma Queen off her 2017 music album, proved she has established herself as a force to reckon with on the country’s entertainment scene with an epic performance.
Coming onto the stage in an unusual fashion- the singer dropped to the stage from the ceiling-Sheebah kept her fans, who turned up in big numbers, on their feet.
Sheebah didn’t disappoint as she sang her greatest hits right from “Ice Cream” released 10 years ago to the latest ones.
On several occasions, she would allow her fans to sing along the lyrics of the songs as they enjoyed the night at Serena.
In a spectacular scene, the singer invited her mother to the stage sending fans into frenzy as they witnessed the mother and daughter’s love.
Joined by queen and king dancers, Sheebah left fans yearning for more as they danced and sang along with her.
The show meant the singer cum dancer ended the year on a high.
