Singer Bebe Cool’s son joins Uganda Premier League giants

Alpha ‘Thierry’ Ssali, the son to top Ugandan reggae musician Bebe Cool a.k.a Moses Sali has joined Uganda Premier League side, Express FC on a two-year deal.

The 19-year-old was unveiled at the Betway Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku in Kampala after penning the two-year deal with the Red Eagles.

“This is a big club that will help me prove myself as I eye for greater opportunities in life. This is a development process like many young footballers who yearn for greater deals in life,” the youngster said after joining the seven-time Uganda Premier League champions.

Alpha Ssali joined Express from regional league side, Proline FC where he has spent most of his time.

Commenting about the team’s new player, Express FC coach, James Odoch said Ssali is an important addition to the club.

“He is a young talented player with potential to improve. We shall not put him under any pressure and will see which matches to field him. He will need guidance here and there .I have watched him several years ago while at Proline and seen him mature.”

Alpha Ssali has come through the youth system at Proline FC and has captained the team’s U17 side but has also featured for the national U17 and U20 teams.
