Cranes youngster Mutyaba joins African giants Zamalek
Uganda Cranes star, Travis Mutyaba is over the moon after joining African giant Zamalek Football Club in Egypt.
The midfielder who finalized all details of the deal has since pet to paper on a four-and-a-half-year employment contract at the club that has won the CAF Champions League- Africa’s most prestigious club tournament- four times.
Mutyaba has played at different levels for the national team including playing at the U17, U20 and for the senior team, the Cranes.
He has also previously won the CECAFA U15, U17 and U18 trophies but also represented the country at the U-20 African Cup of Nations last year where he guided the team to the finals.
In Uganda, he featured for record champions SC Villa from where he left to join Georgian side Dinamo Tbilisi from where Zamalek got him.
He has previously for Bulemeezi in the famous Buganda Masaza Cup and Gombe High School.
Mutyaba now joins other Ugandan footballers including Richard Basangwa, Joseph Ochaya who are plying their trade in Egypt.
